Heck, if it was me, I’d bring that packet empty or not and just demand a refund.

A better way could be just to bring clean, unused rags, wet that and use it on kids. Or just use some clean face twels.

Alternatively, you can make your own baby wipes as shown below. It’s dead simple.

Asians typically do not use baby wipes cause you know, it’s expensive, and can I say, not so environmentally friendly. They just wash the kid with soap and water. And yes, it’s cold water, not warm water.

I’m all for unusual marketing concepts for restaurants but  seriously who wants to eat in a restaurant that has toilet seats instead of chairs? Show of hands please?

Yesterday morning, the Mandarin teachers at my 3 year old’s Mandarin enrichment school (Bao Bei) took off his shirt to see if he’s still down with chicken pox. I guess they were afraid he’ll infect the other kids.

He healed. He’s actually healed in less than 3 days. Yes, thanks to the massive amounts of fruit and green juices he took.

Everyone have or will get chicken pox sometime or other. You can run but you can not hide from it. Even kids who have been vaccinated may get it too. We need, however, to get a little sick so we will develop some immunity.

A few years back, I bought a really powerful Taiwanese blender called Shelina.

The blender came with a cook book. It didn’t state the author’s name, but it’s interesting nevertheless.

The recipe is as below.

6 water chestnuts
40 grams celery
100 grams pineapple chunks
1 orange peeled and seeded
300 cc cold water
2 cups ice cube
1 tablespoon honey

Blend it all in a power blender until everything is pulp. Serve in a beautiful glass.

<notes from Jasmin. If you don’t have a power blender, sieve out the ingredients after blending to get a smoother drink>

Water chestnuts are “cold” food, it detox the body and relief it of heat and irritation.

From the Chinese medicine point of view, water chestnuts are good for treatments of jaundice, hepatitis and constipation.

Do not eat it if you have a stomach illness and diarrhea.
